We’re delighted that our Bedford Corners, New York exterior project is included in today’s Houzz article, featuring fresh color palettes for Colonial homes.  Our project is the fifth house featured.  But, contrary to the description, the wood siding is pale green, and the shutters are a deep turquoise blue.  As we often admonish, color is very deceptive and notoriously in accurate on a screen– do not always believe what you see!  Factors including a house’s orientation, its landscaping and surroundings, and the materials used in its construction all affect how we perceive color on the exterior of a home.  Exterior color projects are more challenging in many ways than the application of color to interior walls.
